things i'm loving . . . silver beaded heart clutch'

Greetings all,
Oh i'm super extra loving this beautiful silver beaded clutch purse from Seed (i know, again, more children's accessory products for me) & . . . half price!!  Even the sales assistant said "oh damn, i think that's the last one, i want it" with giggles.
So that's my offering for Things I'm Loving with Paisley Jade this week, aint it pretty??
Oh boy, so totally NOT loving this . . .
did you see on the news - a chemical explosion (or 30) at a recycling plant in Mitchell ACT??  We're one suburb over, yikes!!
The wind is changing, towards us!!
We're 25km from the city (the route we drive) & the cars are banked up at our house, already, at 7.30a.m. as all the arterial roads into Canberra are closed, so kind of glad we're not tackling that for the school run today.
SO slight change in plans for the romantic lunch in the country with my husband i had planned for today, our 4 children are home, their schools are closed, their lunches are back out of their bags on the kitchen counter & they're having a long weekend.  I can't even send them outside for a picnic, it's strictly 'fasten your doors & windows' here right now!!  Love Posie

Better keep in doors! Who knows what toxins are being spewed into the atmosphere, nasty stuff!
The bag is gorgeous!!

Oh Posie that sounds awful. Bunker down and don't go anywhere near that smelly smoke. Sounds like a good day for a bit of cooking, sewing and TV.

wow, I heard about that on the radio this morning. We are south of Mitchell so we won't be affected. Though my dear son would loved to have stayed home today. Such a nice day. Anyway you can put on some army issue gas masks and picnic outside anyway? :P
Or just dash for cleaner air elsewhere? Kambah adventure playground is pretty good, clean air, lots for kids to run, jump off, climb, and picnic tables for slightly-less than optimal romantic picnic for two :)

This looks terrible Jennie, I hope you all won't be affected too badly. A nice family day in then...

Yikes. I know 2 people in Canberra and you are one of them so I thought of you first thing this morning when I saw the news.

Hope that you get the all-clear ASAP.

sending you all gas masks now!

wet the towels down and run them along the door cracks and gaps.

Stay safe and make sure you ring the school bell when its time for morning tea and lunch :)

take good care all of you.

ps: love the bag for me too x

Love the purse. Just found Seed in Brisbane, I know 'late to the seed party' will have to make a trip in without the kids after the holidays:)
Hope they get it under control soon. Yikes alright. Enjoy your picnic in the lounge. I know the six of you will make the most of it.

I read about the explosion this morning. Ekk! We were mighty close to where you guys live when we were down there. We went and visited my great grandparents ashes over at Norwood Park.

Love the purse.

Gorgeous bag! I can't believe they would make that for a child. Ridiculous!!! x

Sweet bag! :)
Pull out the picnic rug, spread it on the floor in the sunshine, and go nuts with a not-so-romantic picnic - kids included. :) (Just think, now you can add fresh baked cake or popcorn!) :)
Hope it all blows over soon.

How terrible for you. We watched it on TV this morning - it looked really scary. Hope you are all coping.

Good luck! Bit long to hold your breath though.... Hmmm, I like the idea of army issued gas masks for a picnic. Might make the news!!

Aren't you better off going out in the other direction..houses aren't exactly airtight? I hope you don't get too cold without heat too.

Cute clutch Posie. My goodness, what a shocker with the explosions. That kind of thing gives me the heebie jeebies. As if there isn't enough pollution escaping into our atmosphere :o( Hope you all managed to keep clear of it and not get on each other's nerves in the process, being shut up indoors. A shame you couldn't get that romantic picnic in. Always a next time though xo

Very sweet bag:) I do know someone who would love that bag, I'm not sure if it was in our house I'd even get to use it.

I saw on the news the terrible fire down in Canberra, it looks awful. I bet your children would have loved staying at home today. I hope all of you had a good day indoors. xo

Oh no, I hope you don't get affected! People suggest to stay home...so I guess time for crafting ( well, maybe not with 4 kids:-) The clutch is very nice!
