I have been wanting to do this for ages . . .

I have been wanting to do this for ages . . .
but waiting for the right opportunity (venue, time, audience).
I get to show off my vintage style props . . .
& share some self taught skills.
I'll be pulling out the Rachel Ashwell fabrics . . .
showing off my collection & decorating style.
Needless to say i'm BIG KEV EXCITED about this new adventure. Do you remember Big Kev?? When i was younger, an accurate measure of how excited i was, was on a scale of . . . NOT excited at all . . . to Big Kev excited. Big Kev was a day time television cleaning product salesman extraordinaire, who got very pumped & excited over goo remover & cleaning pastes. Sadly Big Kev (beer belly, red face, Hawaiian shirts & all) died of a heart attack.
So ladies & gentlemen, stay tuned for my exciting tales & fingers crossed it's not a one off!!

Finally, thank you for all the lovely comments on my middle girl's chin wars - this is day 3, her little purple bruised goatee is looking worse for wear. She's a little less stiff in the jaw but it's amazing how a sore chin can make unpacking the dishwasher an impossible task. Love Posie

Ouch - I think that the chin looks worse than the other day - love that she is milking it - although I am certain that she will continue until the last of the yellow brusing disappears.
I am going with you teaching something? Can I come - I could make coffee:) (only cause I know that you are not practiced in that skill) I'm moving to Canberra with Clare - do you think there is room in your studio for two more - might just have to get that posting there (not looking promising though!)

Oh she's gorgeous and she can ride on the coat tails of this injury for at least another couple of days, no chores for her ;o)

There are an awful lot of muscles involved in stacking and unstacking dishwashers you know and of course the 'chin wagging' that goes on at the time would be painful too....Bless, I'm glad it's improving and that she's enjoying the advantages of war wounds for a little while :o)

Looking forward to seeing what you are up to and wowee that chin looks sore, I totally understand how it prevent one from doing much at all, imagine if she could see it ... all the time visible I mean ... those are the really debilitating injuries. T. x

Lol @ unloading the dishwasher. Mine drapes dramatically on the ground when I mention anything sounding like - 'clean'. She's too tired! Oh the drama!
Big Kev is dead? I am devastated... Can't possibly concentrate on work today now. Perhaps I can have a little memorial service for him - me and my cleaning products all lined up, mourning together... Next you will be telling me the Aussie Home Loans guy is no longer saving us either!
Oh yes we tried to get the kids to haul firewood last night oh my!!
