shhh, i'm watching OffSpring . . .

Greetings all,
Oh Asher Keddie, i'll never get enough of your natural radiance.  She is so well put-together on television in OffSpring, her dressing team should win their own Logie Award.  It's high end clobber, mixed with vintage finds & her delicious complexion . . . i've already posted on this before & how my 3rd girl effortlessly pulls off Nina Style glam.
I haven't purchased the Woman Weekly magazine for years, i live by their 1960's cook book, but put Asher on your cover wearing Kate Sylvester (a mummy of twins, did you know??) your magazine will leap into my trolley at the supermarket.
The cover line of 'i don't need babies to be a success' wasn't even a paragraph in the 7 page article.  Was that meant to rock the mummy reading demographic of WW??  I applaud anyone who chooses not to have children, she hasn't even ruled it out (she's 37, married 4 years) & really, is it our business??
Like Princess Mary, some girls just have a figure & colouring which makes the delicate lace gleam with perfection.  I love a belted feminine ensemble.
These are her horses (she has 5) on her property in Victoria's Macedon Ranges.
Anyway, i knew OffSpring was on tonight, but seriously, 4 nights this week at 9.30p.m. i'm VERY excited.  I don't even care if they are repeat episodes, that means handsome & steamy Dr Chris, yay!!  My children are asleep, my husband doesn't normally call around this time, Nina can keep me company.  Enjoy & happy viewing, love Posie

Ah Posie - I love her too - she is so simply beautiful. Her style is what I would wear (if only I had the figure...sigh!) And hope the handsome soldier is doing well.

Oh I love her, esp in Paper Giants. She's got that Princess Mary well groomed patrician thing happening x

There's just something exquisite about her, isn't there?
She really draws you in.
I love Asher in Offspring, but thought she was sensational as Ita Buttrose in Paper Giants too.
Unconventional beauty.
What we need more of.
:-)
P.S. Husbands have this sixth sense - or is it lack of it?!

No idea who this is but she looks fab! I am off to source a vintage lace shirt and try to look this gorgeous and feminine. I'm not gonna try riding a horse though that'll end in tears.

I stumbled across it last night. Lovely. Movie length Dr Chris. Delightful.
My daughter has posted a craft project today. I would really appreciate it if you could pop over and leave a comment please Posie.

Sigh. Asher does that bohemian chic look so apparently easily on Offsrping (jealous!) I ave often wondered what her "real life" style is like.

Did you tape Dr Chris while you spoke to hubby? ;)

I saw Dr Chris walking down Chapel St on Sunday with, I'm guessing, his partner. He was carrying a baby in a pouch. Which screamed I'm taken, yet also screamed nice guy at the same time. Which made him even more appealing. Is that wrong? He was rocking the three day growth and reflector aviator sunnies. Be still my beating heart!

You have SO much to answer for with this post.
I'm sick in bed today with a nasty cold/sinusitis and after reading your post I scooted over and watched the last three episodes from series 1 that I hadn't seen.

She is a doll and I love the show as much for the aesthetics as for the storyline and characters.

Happy day and a distant hug so that you're spared this lurgy - thanks for the inspiration, it was just the tonic I needed.....am going to have a rest now and try to do a Nina'esque dream sequence.

xx

I've not watched OffSpring, but it's about to start repeating on Foxtel, so I think it's time I converted. Always late to the party, that's me! xx
