Feeling Poorly . . .

While i have lots of exciting new fabrics, concepts & recent handmade gifts to share with you all, AND i really only wanted to add a meaningful new post every 10 days or so, i just have to ask if anyone else out there suffers migraines?? Coming off a 3 day bender (oh, i don't drink, i get migraines & if you know a migraine, it's like the WORSE hang over ever) i am now completely deaf with blocked ears. Said ears are now bubbling from whatever my husband dripped into them, one single Japanese water torture drop at a time, . . . so i've decided to not even try to talk to him tonight, as i kind of sound like i should be in a geriatric nursing home "what did you say, who, yes please, why not, i can't hear you" has been repeated over & over very loudly tonight . . .
So i thought, i know, if i can't read a story book, talk, sew in a straight line, or listen to Grey's Anatomy (don't worry, i'm taping it for when my hearing resumes) i might calmly while the evening away on the laptop. Don't do anything silly like update your business websites with giddy information or delete them altogether, so i'll destroy my blog instead. I've changed the colours & layout, as i was never really a brown & orange girl anyway. I've settled on this template & colour scheme - why do so many free templates look like banking brochures??
It's yet another public holiday in the Territory tomorrow - having serious doubts how my children will be educated with 3 public holidays in the past 2 weeks!! Now, time to rest my giddy head, in the knowledge my husband will still be here in the morning, not at work. Yippee!! That said, he will duck off to the gym for a couple of hours, & then so will i, ah bliss, i might just leave my iPod headphones at home!! Love Jennie

I thought I'd gone to the wrong blog. Thank goodness it is you.
Sorry to hear your not well.
I can suffer migranes but I usually catch them quickly with an over the counter drug. Never had ear problems just eyes.
Should wear my glasses whilst on the computer like now !!
Hope your feeling better. The gym would be my last port of call but whatever gets you over your migrane. xx Fiona

Thanks for the comments & emails ladies!! I have been suffering migraines since i was 4, being a blondie with pale blue eyes, sunlight was a trigger!! That was hard when you played lots of sport like me. No idea what is with the ears & no drips on the pillow slip, thanks Melissa!! It's another public holiday today, so i'll go the GP tomorrow, but i must say, from all accounts, the children are playing beautifully & quietly!! I promise Jade (from Jade Pavitt Designs) i will see an Osteopath, which is kind of against everything i studied!! But Jade swears by hers & Donna Hay was just raving on about hers too, in issue 34 of her Magazine. Love Posie

sorry to hear you have been unwell Jennie! I too suffer from migraines I have since I was about 10. I hate that hungover feeling for a few days due to the drugs and dehydration which usually comes with it all so I try to drink as much water as I can keep down. I don't get as many since I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago as a lot of mine were menstrual migraine. let me know Jennie if you want to know what I take etc :) Hope this finds you well now

Hello and hope this finds you better. Thank you for all you comments on my blog. I do really appreciate them. Yes that is the view out our front window. I see it when I do the dishes and when I sit in the reading/slothing chair in the lounge.
The track is lovely and lush like alot of things here. Warm weather and a bit of rain all year round makes everything go crazy. I like the new you as well!!!!

Oh you poor thing. I dont suffer from them but fell for you and your DH. Tim suffers badly (he has the fair hair and light blue thing happening as well) But his are worse from being struck by lightning (not once, but twice) At the moment I am living with a loving husband that wakes up every day with a headache and a migraine that puts him in hospital at least once a month!

Wow, thanks everyone, you're all way to kind & thoughtful. I keep begging my husband to let me have a hysterectemy, as i hardly need any more babies. He's had a vasectemy, but i do suffer in tune with my periods. My husband is obsessed with HRT (hormone replacement) as he's sure it's what gave his mother cancer (not smoking of course!!) It's maybe a little dramatic at 32, certainly not as good as Tim's lightening story - i remember him telling me Kylie!! And you said you would stand next to him in a storm, as he's proven very likely to get hit!! I'm up & at them again, hydrated & sewing, running & cycling. Promise next post will be gorgeous, as i have some new images to share!! Plus 4 healthy happy children back at school again. Love Posie
