Greetings all,
My littlest girl picked up her reading glasses on the weekend.
My littlest girl picked up her reading glasses on the weekend.
She's smiling now, my darling quirky one, wearing them at school to read & at home to sew.
I'm so proud she's coping so beautifully with being the only child in the family to need glasses. She even wore her Converse sneakers to match her new cool frames. For Wordless Wednesdays, check out Faith Hope & a Whole Lotta Love. Love Posie
I love them!
ReplyDeleteI love her choice of frame and her quirkiness - i love seeing what she is wearing! Our Miss 10 is now used to wearing glasses, and thinks of them as an accessory - yay!XX
Very stylish, she looks great! :-)
ReplyDeleteShe looks fabulous! Love the funky colours and styles available for kids now. How cool that they match her sneakers:)
ReplyDeleteThis is my darling 10 year old too. I'm so surprised at her lovely attitude, her friends are amazingly supportive & it's such a low script, she might not need them in a year's time. Her HUGE blue eyes just suited those frames, she's one impressive girl. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteReally cool colour, rockin it girl!! I have had mmy glasses since I was 3yrs old and they were never any cool oones back then.
ReplyDeleteCool specs!
ReplyDeleteGosh, she looks like her mum :)
ReplyDeleteLove those frames. And love her maturity.
She is beautiful. And those glasses look great on her!

Very funky. great choice.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad she's smiling now. They look great. I have blue frames too and they're my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteWas hoping to see the big reveal - she looks ace!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool that she has sneakers to match! :)
ReplyDeleteI had glasses at around that age and only ended up needing them for a few years.
ReplyDeleteEven if she does need them long term - glasses are so much nicer these days, they're a fashion accessory. :D
So cool, love the colour!
ReplyDeleteGosh - I remember when I got glasses for the first time. I was in Year 4 and I hated wearing them SO much. My teacher always used to catch me out for not having them on. Mine were nowhere near as groovy as your daughter's! When I got to about 20, I loved wearing glasses and felt very strange the day I decided to get laser surgery and consequently never need them again! x
ReplyDeleteso spunky and brave, love the blue
ReplyDeleteOh how cool she looks - and grown up too! love the colour! Her frames are way cooler than mine - I might have to go looking to see what is available and improve mine - bit jealous!
ReplyDeleteShe looks gorgeous framed.
ReplyDelete:-)
Cool chick x
ReplyDeleteWow, how stylish are those glasses. I need a new pair myself - very tempting, but perhaps they wouldn't look so hot on a geriatric.
ReplyDeleteLove them & a great colour for a groovy girl :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girl. I'm so proud of her, too. xx
ReplyDeleteshe is one impressive girl - and they are impressive specs!
ReplyDeletethey are styling! :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks gorgeous in them!!! what a lovely colour.
ReplyDeleteMy Miss 10 wears glasses too and I think they look so cute... she is a converse wearing girl too and I love her quirky style :)
They really suit her, she looks gorgeous! My Mum could never understand it, but I always wished I wore glasses as a kid..
ReplyDeleteShe looks super cool (but I'm a 40 year old woman, so don't tell her I just said that! Tellh er I said "she's not going out in THOSE is she!?!?"). x
ReplyDeleteShe looks great...and soooo much like you in your profile photo....love the frames
ReplyDeleteShe looks so buitiful in her new glasses. I hope she gets used to them soon
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful words, love & support, love Posie
