Greetings all,
Floriade is one of my favourite festivals in Canberra each year - it's close to school, easy to park the car, free to attend & just a beautiful place to wander alone with a camera or with a bunch of children. We normally go twice a week during the 4 weeks it runs.
Beautiful.

ReplyDeletehoping we will make it to floriade this year, during our great road trip, must check the dates it runs. Did see it many moons again on a school trip to threadbo, gee that was 16 years ago!!!

ReplyDeleteFloriade is magical! We have a whole collection of videos that Grandad made of the kids at Floriade each year as they grew up..including shots of gravel and feet with crunching and a conversation in the background when he forgot to turn off the video after filming something! The flowers are just breathtaking as usual. Have a lovely weekend!

ReplyDeleteOh Posie, I'm so jealous! I have always wanted to go to Floriade. I've even planned it a couple of times and for some reason or another haven't been able to go.
