Check it out, my 300th post, yahoo!! Seeing it's International Women's Day & all, i figured i'd team it with a hot pink GIVEAWAY. So to celebrate women all around the world . . . inside a French cute pink & white polka dot suitcase, you'll win a Cashmere pashmina, Australian wool, American twine, Swedish stripey ribbon & Japanese washi tape, Dutch hair clips, a British colouring book, 1/2 yard Russian Doll Babushka fabric & collection of multi national fabric buttons. Value over $200 of hot pink goodness!!
Today Shop Handmade hosted a IWD event with a delicious Champagne catered lunch & a dozen giveaways of handmade goodness over lunch. Our guests each wrote a note telling us what they loved about being a woman in Canberra (our nation's capital) & had their lucky tag plucked from the tree to win. So i'm off to a Spin Class at the gym to take care of the cake calories!!

Because i'm all class & glamour . . . look at how my lady like avocado dip eating skills have served me . . . it even made a 'plop' sound when it landed on my shoe & of course, i giggled, perhaps even snorted??!! As a good hostess i ate when no one was looking, so i thought i'd blog about my shame for those who missed my party faux pas.

That is a huge commitment..300 posts..congratulations. I've had a day a little like yours..with friends eating far too much cake etc. Fun though! All the best for the next few hundred posts.

My first thought was "happy 300th post!" followed by "holy dooley is she serious?!?" (The shock brought out the Aussie yobbo streak in me that is usually kept under lock and key). Are you sure you want to part with all that stash of goodies?
