Greetings all,
Poof, after yesterday's post (thanks for your well wishes & sibling stories) . . . i thought i might enlighten you with all the lovelier things from my weekend . . .
a spot of screen printing . . .
mmmm, macarons in Spinderella . . .
thanks Donna Hay!! Did you know she's doing a flourless truffle cake mix soon, oh you will, i'll have them in a giveaway a.s.a.p. . . .
Farmer's Market orangey goodness . . .
i got carried away juicing & overflowed the food processor (again) so out with the trusty straw . . .
4 children took turns sucking it up . . .
& wrapping up the weekend with a Sunday night Penang curry chicken . . .
with herbs from my barrel of blooming ingredients. I was informed by the critics - i added too much dill, i just can't love children who don't embrace dill. I know there are dill haters who read my blog, bite me, i mean, bite dill.
I picked the herbs after an hour of reading in the garden before making dinner & suddenly lost the ability to tell the difference between coriander & parsley. I sniffed, i tasted, i compared . . . i picked both & tossed them all in the curry!! I had herb amnesia. If i inspire you to do anything, it's to grow your own herbs, chillies & salad fixings . . . a little effort with the watering can, will save you a fortune & fresh herbs are the hero of the dish. Thank you, thank you very much, love Posie

All of it looks fabulous! Love!
Hi Miss Posie
gorgeous reality shots - I love them so
You had me at hello with your herbs - I am a lover of them all.
Even the putrid herbal tonics too - I am a "herb lady lover".
have a great day ahead

You've got my taste buds atwitching and my fingers itching to get into my scrappy vege patch today.
It was blooming marvelously until Saturday when Captain V discovered all the plants asunder the soil.
We suspect that Luke may have gone foraging for the blood and bone but it may also have been the pesky chooks from next door too.
Either way I managed to salvage some Basil and chives and will start again with a better barrier this time.
Happy day Lovely!
Mmmm.
This was a great stop before breakfast!
:-)
YUM..everything looks delicious!
Oh I love dill. So so yummy!
Oh Jennie, how you manage to cram so much into one weekend always astounds me. And the sight of your KitchenAid has me sighing. *One day*. But in cornflower blue! J x
Hi Posie,
How did the macaroons turn out? I have a Donna Hay macaroon box that stares at me everytime I open the pantry door. I must give it a whirl. That curry is making my mouth water. Yum!

Ooh, lots of lovely herbs! They look so lush and amazing. My mum makes a great Swedish chicken dish with dill, I must get that recipe! Hope you have a happy week Jennie, take care xo
homegrown herbs and salad are the best, we'll have the tomatoes to add to the mix soon! i'm eating dill right now :) love it
Gosh, can I come to your house for dinner. That penang chicken curry looks delicious.
There's nothing like going out and picking your own stuff to eat is there. I'm loving my little Bunnings vegie patch thingy. Even in a courtyard there's no reason not to grow :)
I love dill! x

ahhh yum! you have inspired me to plant some herbs! actually I was given some pots as a gift and they really need to go outside already. perhaps I shall make a trip to bunning in the morrow...
Don't ask me why, i haven't done anything differently this time but we don't seem to have any snail issues this season, magic!! Love Posie
