Greetings all,
Da dah, my new creative space. Sure i had visions of quirky ornaments & repurposed furnishings with beautiful finishes on a palate of pastel, even an inspiration board or art on the walls, flowers & a view . . . nope, this is a working studio & as functional as you can get!! I can save that dainty dream for when we move. This was more a quick fix, halve the studio space (yes, i used to have twice this much space, greedy me) & it feels great!!

Everything is so easy to access from shelves, pigeon holes & cabinettes.
Still not sure if i should move my sewing table into the centre?? At least it would hide the mark on the carpet, ooppss.
Voila, the fabric wall/ room divider. Next time my husband is in town we'll move our 4 children around their now 4 bedroom options & finish off the other side/ the high schooler's bedroom.
This neat cabinette was $25 from Revolve, who knew i had so many pegs?? Acutally i know there are more in the garage, sorting sorting sorting - it never ends!!
Honestly, this was a HUGE & all consuming effort, i sorted every safety pin, needle & thread - total 7 garbage bags of things-i-can-live-without, so i'll make this a picture-post. I have a lot of bulk to use up to free up more space (batting, wadding, denim & chunky blanket making materials) so i had better get busy before Winter strikes. There is another book case & television storage cabinette opposite the sewing machine table, oh & a cutting table with wings next to the fabric racks, so more images to come.
Happy Creative Spacing this Thursday folks, thank you Kirsty at Kootoyoo for hosting . . . but before you go, check out my latest G I V E A W A Y, just follow & comment, share the love & comment for extra entries, 'tis simple!! Love Posie

Jen, you have done a fantastic job...it looks great and I am totally loving all your fabric...I would be in heaven in a space like this.
xx
Talk about supplies! The new arrangement looks nice and roomy.
wow that is impressive!
I have total button envy...what a big job to sort it all and rearrange everything! It must be a huge room..seems as though you still have plenty of room.
Wow that is so impressive....your stock is to die for and all that space....Loved checking it out.
Good Lord, you have a store...your space is huge!
Wow, I love your fabrics and ribbons- My dream room contents! What a mammoth task- well done.
I tell my self if I had more space I would be tidy, but I doubt it maybe I should just stop buying fabric (don't know that that is going to happen). I am quickly outgrowing my 3 x 3 room, I am very impressed with your reduced sewing space.
Now that's what I call a monster-stash!
Things look so beautiful and organised, it must be a pleasure to work in a space like that!
Geez Posie - I didn't know anyone could really have a 'wall' of fabric!!!!
Wow - that is one HUGE stash of fabric! A very impressive new space - well done!
Wowza, what an amazing colletion of fabrics and ribbons! I'm in awe :)
Is that your sewing room or your sewing SHOP??!! WOW.
Awesome job, esp in culling.

That looks fantastico Posie! How you have made order of all of those knick knacks + all the bigger stuff, I'll never know! I think you may have found a new calling... interior design! I think I may need you to come around and sort out our poky living space :o)
Wow, that is one seriously fab. stash of supplies. I was in heaven gazing at them all. It must feel so good to have everything so neat and tidy.
Wow, you have a lot of fabric! It's very cleansing sorting and arranging your stash isn't it? It's also a lot fun discovering things you'd forgotten you had... or finding things you knew you had, somewhere!
Oh your space is completely drool worthy! Love it!!
wow! what a huge effort - even though it's half the space, it still looks like a very creative and productive space!
Loooooove it, Jen. It's HUGE, but then you do so much work there that you need your space. I would feel very inspired there!! x
I am green... with envy!
Siiiggghhhhhh!
oh Jennie, please can i come to your house and locked up in your craft room? plleeeeeease?? it looks like heaven for any crafter and what with an actual wall of fabric, it must feel like such a lovely place to create!! I have a very very small cupboard like room, that must have been the "cloak room" back when our house was originally built. Even though it is small, i love that it is my place, and I can shut the door and leave all the mess when i have to! HAve a lovely day xx
Well done! It looks fab! Wow i have 'creative space' envy!! :)
Whoa, what a space! And all that fabric, Drool City!!

Holy cow! That's one hell of a workroom you got yourself... I'm green with envy xx

You have such a wonderful space, filled with the most terrific assortment of......well everything that I love.
